Nanny cameras have evolved into more uses than just watching nannys. This news clip explores the alternate uses for nanny cams, such as watching contractors and seeing if the child is taking advantage of the nanny! Once again, Michael Dear demonstrates nanny cams and goes into some of the other uses for them.

 


10-2005, Channel 33 News, Dallas TX

A local Dallas/Fort Worth resident was burglarized and the bandits were caught on film with their in-home hidden camera system. Local reporters came once again to ask Michael what was available on the market and how useful these types of systems really are. As time has gone on, cameras have gotten cheaper and more powerful. So much so, that they are within the reach of the average person.

 


08-2004, Channel 11 News, Dallas TX

Dallas police were switching over to TASER pistols as personal defense items. Channel 11 news asked Michael for a demonstration and the uses of tasers for the general public. In this clip, Michael demonstrates and uses the consumer model of the police taser as well as explains its benefits to an average person.

 


08-1998, Fox 4 News, Dallas TX  

Back in 1998, car theft became a hot topic in Dallas for a while. Local news stations reporting on the situation, turned to Michael Dear for suggestions and a recommendation on how to protect a person's car. This news broadcast features an older product, the auto Auto TASER® ECD, that was extremely effective in protecting a personal vehicle.

 


1996, My New House, Dallas TX

Way back in 1996, Spy Centre Security was installing camera systems around homes and businesses. In this clip, Michael Dear appears on a home improvement show to demonstrate camera technology and it's installation. Security was a rapidly growing industry at that time, and people needed expert advice on what was really available. It is interesting to note how far the camera industry has involved in the last decade as these products were cutting edge for their time.
